Plastic replica cougar skull, y'all! This dude is SOLD :)

I think these skulls are art of a larger mechanism rather than a machine by themselves. They fit into some larger thing and activate it like a complicated key. Maybe these keys were made in the shape of an animal to be harder to operate...or harder to find? The leather straps on the side appear to be coded instructions...
