The Krampus is a figure from German/Austrian folklore. He is an assistant to Saint Nicholas during the month of december. While Saint Nick gives out sweets and gifts to the good children, Krampus comes to punish the bad ones with his birch switch and a basket to carry the children away!

All of the fur lines, face, hands and hooves are hand painted. The eyes are glass and the ears/horns are sewn fleece. The long fur is made from high quality National Fiber Technology hair that was hand dyed.

Krampus' gear is hand made leather with brass metal rivets and accents. His basket, chain/cuffs and loincloth can be removed. He does have a "birch switch" made from cinnamon branches ( smells nice!), he can hold the switch with an elastic piece sewn into his palm. The basket and belt are both adorned with a row of Christmas bells.
