Still messing with this, not done quite ready yet. My entry for the Murder By Death/O' Death album cover contest. I'm trying some new digital coloring techniques. I guess im trying to achieve some sort of 1800's feel...she's supposed to be a fairy tale swamp critter/ Old Scratch devil type thing. O' Death makes me think of creepy swamp folktales and MBD makes me think of the old west...trying to combine it all and keep my usual themes in there as well. It's been a really fun and time consuming project. Even if it doesnt' win, this kind of made me improve a little and try some new things. It will get converted into a tshirt design if it loses. However, it will probably need to be recolored so that it can be silkscreenable......though it would be nice to find a place that can do full color so i could keep the crazy textures and shading but I want a place that does NOT use iron-on shit.
Tattooes, tentacles and angel wings. Excellent. I like the palette, too. Kinda faded 19th century poster. The keys and lantern could hint at alchemy. I like it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
